In May this year, I took a dream fortnight trip through the Alps and surrounds by train, starting in Vienna, where I wandered around some Before Sunrise locations, down through Slovenia to Trieste, to Verona via a quick hop in Venice, back through the Dolomites to Innsbruck and across to Switzerland. It was a fabulous whirl.

A map of my train trip through the Alps on the FindPenguins app. Each picture is a new footprint with a write-up and photos.

I used the FindPenguins travel blogging app which was a great way to organise all my impressions before I forgot them. Their privacy settings allowed me to keep my location to myself and my family while I was away but now I can open up the trip to anyone who follows the link. Visit it to read my random observations and see some of my favourite pictures of the journey.
